Presentation of 9th Dan in Traditional TaeKwon-Do
On April 26, 2014, Grandmaster Jeffrey Helaney was awarded the prestigious 9th Dan Black Belt by the International Jun Tong TaeKwon-Do Federation, marking the highest rank and honor attainable in Traditional TaeKwon-Do. The ceremony was attended by renowned martial arts experts and legends from across the country, celebrating this monumental achievement.
In the days following the event, GM Helaney received an outpouring of congratulations from around the globe. One of the notable figures offering his well wishes was GM Kang Rhee (pictured here with student Elvis). Along with his heartfelt congratulations, GM Rhee expressed his gratitude for GM Helaney’s contributions to the martial arts community and presented him with a certificate recognizing his rank through his organization. His rank has, also, been recognized by the World TaeSool Association, and the International TaeKwon-Do Federation HQ Korea.
